These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Carry Harare platform, including bookings, deliveries, driver services, affiliate partnerships, retailer partnerships and payment services.

By creating an account, making a booking, registering as a driver, joining the affiliate programme or using any Carry Harare service, you agree to these Terms.


1. About Carry Harare

Carry Harare is a technology platform connecting customers, retailers, marketplace sellers and independent delivery drivers throughout Harare.

Carry Harare facilitates bookings, payments, driver matching, live tracking and communication between users.


2. Booking a Delivery

Customers are responsible for providing accurate:

  • Pickup address
  • Delivery address
  • Recipient contact details
  • Item descriptions
  • Estimated size and weight
  • Special handling requirements
  • Building access instructions

Incorrect booking information may result in delays, additional charges or cancellation.


3. Driver Allocation

Carry Harare automatically offers delivery requests to suitable nearby drivers.

Driver availability depends upon location, time of day, traffic, weather and demand.

Carry Harare cannot guarantee immediate driver availability.


4. Delivery Pricing

Pricing may be based on:

  • Distance travelled
  • Vehicle size
  • Delivery urgency
  • Number of pickup locations
  • Number of delivery locations
  • Heavy or oversized goods
  • Waiting time
  • Access difficulties
  • Additional labour requested

If the actual job differs significantly from the original booking, the final price may change.


5. Retail Partners

Shops, retailers and commercial businesses may register as Carry Retail Partners.

Retail Partners can create deliveries directly or refer customers through the Carry platform.


6. Affiliate Programme

Approved affiliate partners may earn commission from qualifying bookings referred through their unique referral link.

Commission is only payable after:

  • the booking has been completed
  • payment has cleared
  • the booking has not been refunded
  • fraud checks have been completed

Carry Harare reserves the right to reject fraudulent or abusive referrals.


7. Cancellations

Driver accepted Partial refund may apply
Driver travelling Travel costs may be deducted
Driver arrived Normally non-refundable

8. Waiting Time

Waiting charges may apply where delays occur because of:

  • Customer unavailable
  • Shop delays
  • Loading delays
  • Building access
  • Security procedures
  • Lift reservations

9. Prohibited Goods

The following must not be transported:

  • Illegal goods
  • Firearms
  • Explosives
  • Hazardous chemicals
  • Gas cylinders
  • Controlled drugs
  • Cash
  • Precious metals
  • Live animals unless agreed in advance

10. Proof of Delivery

Carry Harare may collect:

  • Recipient signatures
  • Delivery photographs
  • GPS timestamps
  • Delivery notes

These records may be used to verify successful delivery.


11. Driver Responsibilities

  • Maintain a roadworthy vehicle
  • Hold appropriate licences
  • Follow Zimbabwe road traffic laws
  • Treat customers professionally
  • Handle goods with reasonable care
  • Complete deliveries honestly

12. Customer Responsibilities

  • Package goods appropriately
  • Provide accurate booking information
  • Ensure someone is available if required
  • Avoid booking prohibited items
  • Treat drivers respectfully

13. Limitation of Liability

Carry Harare is a marketplace connecting customers with independent delivery drivers.

We are not liable for delays resulting from:

  • Traffic congestion
  • Road closures
  • Weather conditions
  • Vehicle breakdowns
  • Civil disturbances
  • Events beyond reasonable control

14. Account Suspension

Carry Harare may suspend or permanently remove accounts involved in:

  • Fraud
  • Abusive behaviour
  • Payment fraud
  • False bookings
  • Misuse of promotional offers
  • Affiliate fraud

15. Changes to these Terms

Carry Harare may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any updated version.
